Blind Doors

Blind Doors - 10/26/14 07:12 PM

I'm designing a new blind and am looking for a source for RV or trailer style, insulated doors.

I've always built my own doors on my steel blinds, but wanted to step it up a notch since I'll be building an insulated blind with 1.75" thick walls.

I do not want wooden inserts in the doors.

Does anyone know of a local source?

Mobile home water heater access doors, you can find them at any mobile home parts and service store. Expensive, but they work GREAT.

That's what I used on mine, came from R&G around Dallas. After talking with them I found out that you can get the water heater doors skinned in sheet metal.
