Thought this might be useful. I had several Stealthcam cameras that were not taking pictures. Seems if you remove the batteries and SD cards and then move the switch to the ON position and leave it set for about 30 minutes, it will reset the software(deplete the internal stored power). After waiting approx. 30 minutes, move the switch to OFF and re-insert the batteries and SD cards. I have only tried 3 of the 8 cameras, so far it seems to have worked. Going through the rest now and will report back with my findings. I was about the toss these in the trash. Hopefully I can put them back to work. This should work on other cameras as well. Have a bushnell it did the trick on too.

One more thing to try if still having issues. Format the Card in a computer, not quick format. Then you might need to format the card on the camera itself as well. Two of the 8 still having issues. Will start the process over and see if something went wrong the first time, the others are GTG.

Format it in FAT32 and error check it afterwards. When you access the card on a PC or laptop, turn off autoply before you do.

Autoplay on Winblows OS's writes a placeholder to the TOC when the volume is mounted. It can cause the device that uses the card to sh1t the bed with read/write errors or corrupt the files contained on the card.
