Ok help me on game cams for next year

Ok help me on game cams for next year - 01/16/16 11:50 PM

Right now I have wildagme innovations and I think they are garbage. I have watched deer before sunset and after sunrise that my camera didn't get a picture of. I notice a lot of condensation over the Camera in the morning and so even when I do get pics they are no good until about 10 in the morning. I need recommendations for new cameras for next year. I am sick of buying the cheaper ones that don't work. Also I need to get (want) one wireless camera a year from now on. So opinions on spy point vs code black.

Let me here your guys opinions.

Thoughts on tying together a bunch of those spy point tiny cameras into one big wireless circuit?

Well it won't text you pics but the Browning strike force micro cam is one of the best on the market. I myself as well as many other members use them and love them.

I have zero experience with the cameras you mentioned so I won't comment. But hey they gotta be better than WGI

I will look at those. I know I can't do them all in the wireless or network cams in one year, but definitely need to replace my wild games with something

Yeah you won't want to many cameras sending you photos, sometimes it will drive you crazy, like when a pack of pigs show up and won't leave.
I highly recommend the Browning strike force though. They are worth every penny

I've really enjoyed my 2 Spartan HCO cams this year as I get my pics easily to my email and good quality.

I also have a Stealth cam out and it takes some great photos.

Right now is the time to buy a good camera. I bought a Stealth G26 from the HEB grocery store in La Vernia, Tx. It was the last unit they had in the basket. Normal price is $129.99. They had it on clearance for $50. If they would have had 5 units, I would have bought them all for that price. Look a Academy, Dick's and any HEB's in south Texas. The Stealth cameras have always been good quality cameras.

I had 5 wireless HCO's running this past season. Great units with few issues. Mainly varmints chewing the stock antenna and the extended range antenna wire. I added the solar powered built in battery packs and those were one of the best additions I made.

I had 14 other game cams working this season. Various makes and models. Pros and cons to all. I am going to get rid of several to get more with faster trigger speeds for some tight areas I am researching.

I've got a stealth and some moultries. I started off not liking the stealth but its grown on me. The moultries work ok. That last pic is from a moultri m88 I think it is. Wish it had more detail.

I have several and browning by far works the best for me. Also, I only buy my trail cameras at http://www.trailcampro.com/ because of the way they take care of their customers. I'm not a rep for them, I don't benefit in any way by what I am going to say. I am a customer of theirs for several camera's over the years. This year (December of 2015), I bought another browning, (running 5 of them now). It stopped working after one month. I called and told them. Their reply.....we are out of that model, but we will put an upgraded model in the mail today to you or you can wait 30 days and the 2016 models will be out and we will upgrade you to that one. We will send you the camera and then use the box to send the old one back in......that's right, they will send me the new camera before I send them the old one back......this is the type of company that you want to deal with. That's my opinion anyway. Here is photo taken with a Browning.

Thanks, I actually had that one blown up and framed. Lots of my friends just stare at it....just like I did the first time I saw it.

We use some primos, but we have started using Moultrie and browning and really like them.

Want to get chapped? Put 2 game cams watching the same area or feeder. They seldom agree.

Being an outfitter we really depend on our cameras. All we use now are Primos,Browning, and Moultrie.

Let us know how it works out JS. I couldn't comment being the lone WGI supporter left on the planet up

Get multiple moultrie m880 or better game cameras and put Sandisk Eye-Fi (WiFi) SD cards in them; have them talk to a central wifi/4g hotspot device.
(just make sure camera supports WiFi sd cards, and most newer Moultires do!).

I'm probably one of the few, but I actually like the new Cuddebacks. I like the Model C which allows you to change out the flash modules. I have two of these cameras for a little over a year now and they have given me no problems and take nice pictures.
