I have searched but I did not find the topic like that.

What gear do you wear, take with you, on the hunt? We may include stuff you have physically with you in the woods + stuff in the car.

I recall a post like this some years back. But I have simplified a lot sense then.
Now I will grab a drink, binos, ear plugs and rifle and head out the door.
I always carry a pocket knife, my phone and wallet, so flashlight and license is covered.

water - extra ammo/arrows - monocular - t.p. - lip filler -
small snack repackaged in non-rattly wax paper - rolaids in wax paper -
1 or 2 imodium a.d. tablets - 2 or 3 tylenol in wax paper - a piece
of orange ribbon, drag rope (think positive)

it goes without saying most everyone will have a gun/bow,
their appropriate clothing, wallet with license, knife, etc.
with them

Hate to revive an old thread, but I always carry a small spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide. When tracking a wounded animal and you can't tell if it's blood, a squirt or two will let you know real quick. If it's blood it'll foam and turn white.

Several high-grade paper towels, usually folded around the snack (quiet)

With respect, I think it is a terrible idea to rely on your phone for illumination. If you get in a jamb you might drain your primary communications device unnecessarily. I always recommend taking at least one flashlight with you (preferably two) if you are going to be out in the wild with the chance you might be out past sunset.

Years of hunting have taught me to take as little as necessary. A rifle+ammo, a pistol+ammo, binoculars, range finders, water, snack and cell phone. If I hunt all day, I will take a sandwich or two.

I carry a back pack so everything is one place. I hate having stuff in my pockets. I also see a lot of guys that use backpacks and think they have to fill every compartment, I don't. I lay everything out that I will absolutely need in equipment and clothing, and then pack it. I also follow a checklist that I have refined over the years so that I have everything that I will actually use packed.

If I upgrade my equipment, I modify the list and get rid of what is being replaced. My son in law has gotten his fair share of hand me downs by doing this. It is also a great way to get a new hunter set up for the season so they have what they need and don't over buy or under buy.

I used to pack my "after the shot" equipment with me. Game bags and butchering tools. Now I just leave that in the truck and go in with essential equipment depending on if I'm hunting from treestand or off the ground. Besides its hunting so the likelihood of me making a kill on every hunt is not realistic to justify carrying all the game processing equipment. A simple gutting knife and a few plastic gloves will do.

Just deer hunting?

Binoculars, flashlight, knife, TP, ammo, grunt tube, rattle bag, snacks, little coffee thermos in the morning/water in afternoon, zip ties, few little heat packs if it's cold. I think that's about it.
