+1 on reloading. I just finished shooting out my 257 roberts ackley barrel, and need to sell all my stuff for that caliber. I have a good bit of brass I could let go. (it's roberts brass. never got fireformed into an ackley) I shot up all my 25 cal bullets through. I have a neck size and a bullet seater die. I don't think I have a 257 roberts sizing die any more.
you can also make 257 roberts cases out of 7mm or 8mm mauser brass. The nice thing about 25 cal, is that is is the last bullet size to disappear. try finding .30 or 6.5mm bullets these days. sheesh. I do know a guy who has an old rcbs rock chucker and 505 scale he needs to sell. If you're in east texas, we could get you set 2/3 of the way set up to reload fairly affordably.
Have you looked at what 25 caliber bullets are available?
The calibers with the most available options are .308 and .224 because manufactures crank them out.
