Yes, someone is.

My best load with my 300 win mag was 178's with IMR 4831. For some reason I could not get anything above that to 220's to group decently.

Dave,

If you can get it to shoot good, it would do well. The AB LR bullets use a very soft lead, which makes the bullet easy to expand. It also makes it easy to deform the bullet during the bullet seating process. The LR AB generally like a jump, so don't seat them on the lands. I have shot the 190 LR AB in the 300 Win Mag, and it did ok.

On my Rem. 700 in 300 Win Mag strictly for hunting, I am using the 180 Accubonds with 74.5 grains of RL-22, CCI 250 primer, Norma brass. It shoots lights out at 300 yards. First two shot group in same hole, let cool 3 mins, 2nd 2 shot group to confirm. 3,190 fps average. Perfect hunting setup.

I'm thinking 77.5 of H1000 will get me to where i want to be and i'll make sure to seat them with tender care. if they are that much of a whip i'll try somthing else, i ended up with 500 of them so i figured why not.
