Check Costco.

Not sure if they are U.S. made, but stepson got me a couple at Christmas. Nice and clean ammo cans.

Not sure I could find an Army/Navy store without my iPhone. Can't remember the last time I saw one.

I have been very happy with the steel ammo cans from Walmart. The $13.00 price made me nervous when I bought my first one four years ago, but they are great - I have a lot of them now.

Walmart Ammo Cans

Toss a small desiccant pack in each one, and they will still show bone dry year after year.

Harbor Freight has them pretty cheap with their 20-25% off coupons.

Harbor Freight and Walmart are made in China. Not saying the Chinese can't stamp a piece of steel as good as an American. It's the quality of the rubber seal that concerns me.

how do you guys use these?

I keep one of these in a closet FULL of factory ammo. I use the MTM 20/50/100 round boxes for reloaded ammo.

I got my cans in for midway and am happy with them so far. I got some stencils from Home Depot so I can paint info on them.

So far I have all my shotgun shells separated by shot size. I have a can with bbs, 2s, and 7s. Going to make one for 410
