Curious if anyone has shoot the Hornady Precision Hunter in the 110gr ELD-X for the 257 Weatherby? How did perform on game?

Good question..... I sold my .257wby but when I developed loads I tried every bullet I could get my hands on- The 110gr ELD-X wasn't around back then but I'd like to hear about some real world experience with it.

Seems like majority of the ultra high bc bullets are heavy for the caliber, wonder why they didn't go for a 120 or maybe even heavier bullet. I guess a lack of twist?

The precision hunter line is the next best factory ammo I've seen aside from HSM.

I've seen it in action in .308, .300wm and the new .280ai- great accuracy and the 178gr in the .308 was great on deer and coyotes.
