Berger shows 38.4 as max with Reloder 17 but they are conservative for sure.

A good starting point with H4831SC is 39 grains without jamming the bullet into the lands. That is safely under the max load I found for my rifle and should give you plenty of room to develop a good combination.
I can't personally recommend a load with Reloader because I've never tried it.

I'm curious why you chose a 30" barrel though. Is this a heavy varmint bench rifle?

The barrel is A medium palma barrel. 26" I just felt was A little bit short. I can get this barrel fairly quick, all other barrel manufactures were talking 5+ months to get A 28". I can always cut it back but can't extend it very easy. My gun smith lives right behind me so we talk almost every day. Looking to get a little mor velocity out of the 30 inch barrel.

Thanks for the starting point!!! John

You will definitely get a few extra fps with the 30" barrel.

You might even try H4350 with that barrel. My 6mm XC had the highest average velocity and single digit S.D. using it. That barrel was only 26" but I have always been willing to give up a little speed for a lower extreme spread.

Let me know of your results once you have everything going.

Looks great.

Did you have a chance to work up an accurate load for it yet?
