22-250 Varget or H4895

1/14 twist, loading 50 grain FBHP.

If you can get varget it looks a little better on paper according to load data.

Varget is what I used in mine. 52 grain Berger HP and 36.5 grains I think??? Been a couple years since I sold it. Varget is on the shelf everywhere so I'd use it.

H380 shot well in mine too but I had a bunch of Varget.

Fill it up full of Varget.

1500 rounds 1:14 loaded with Varget
1000 rounds 1:8 loaded with Varget.

Bout time for a new barrel again. I'll stick with Varget on barrel number 3.

Always have Varget on hand for my 308. I have a little of 4895 left I used for reduced recoil 125s in 308. Probably keep it for another day and go Varget for 22-250, 223, and 308.

Varget is what mine gets. If Varget isn't available look at the imr enduron equivalent.
