Thanks, David! This confirms some of my data I've seen. But as usual, Sierra is a little conservative on their data.

No. I ALWAYS start about 1.5 to 2 grains less than max and work up if I am trying a new powder/bullet combination. If it is a standard powder, like H4350 and a 140 grain common match bullet, then you may be able to jump right in near the max if it's something you are familiar with. The newer 4451 powder is close to what I'm seeing with what Sierra has listed. But some powders are listed at max are below what I consider max.

Looks like add one more grain of 4451 than what you did for H-4350.
