Primer pocket uniforming

Would there be any negative effect doing this on every reload? I know it's only necessary once but it seems to be the quickest way to knock out all the carbon. I'm trying to get away from tumbling and the ultrasonic doesn't quite clean them up.

Get the RCBS large and small primer pocket brushes.

If you have a drill press, it makes cleaning pockets a snap. I do this very often. 50 pieces, takes a few minutes.

I've got the brushes and the case prep center now. The uniformer seams to give me a cleaner pocket in the same time as the brush but I don't want to skim off to much material over time.

I only do it once on new brass. I uniform the pockets and debur the flash hole.

After that I use the Lee pocket cleaner. The RCBS is much better, but the Lee cost me 3 bucks and works fine.

Pocket brush after the initial uniforming.
