What fast .30 caliber for my new barrel - 08/02/16 04:01 AM
I am in the process of getting the new 26 inch barrel in 30 caliber for my Rem 700. It used to be a 7 STW. What fast .30 caliber would you guy put on it? I would like to have some good quality brass available for it, its my main concern.

With a LA in that bolt face, I'd probably just stick with the 300 WM

Unless you're having the bolt face opened up for 338 size faced cases 300 norma isn't an option. That being said you should build a 300nm

I love my 300 win mag, but a Norma mag has more juice. Also look at the new 30 nosler. It would be a good one.
