you can look up data on line, twist might be a factor

I went with RL22 and 60 grains under the 160 gr. Partition. Work up from the bottom though as a lot of 280 AI's are throated differently.

I have the regular 280 but really not enough difference that powder choices are dissimilar.
I have had good success with H4831/Reloder 26/4000MR/N160 and have some Reloder 23 loads ready to try.
I am running the 168gr Berger Classic Hunter but will be trying the 175gr Hornady ELD-X next.
The Bergers have not failed me though.

N165 has been the best performer in my 280 AI. H4831 & Imr 4350 have been solid in my 280 Remington.

My 280AI has done well with Reloader 22 and H4831 pushing 150 gr. Ballistic Tips, 160 grain Partitions and Accubonds and 140 grain Partitions powered by H4350.
