Rainy day find

Rainy day find - 04/19/16 01:00 PM

Stopped at a small reloading shop just because I was passing and had a few minutes.
About 6 months ago I found a really nice K31 Swiss rifle and only brass I have found was some PPU stuff. Norma brass is normally 1.60 apiece so I saw this collecting dust and snatched it up.
Match brass and all same lot#......

I have enjoyed mine.
Here is mine right after I got giving it a go at 800 yards.

It seems like there were all kinds of places to go in small towns where you'd find treasures like that covered with twenty years worth of dust, up into the 90s. I think all those places have now been picked over pretty hard several times over.

How did it do at 800?

Re: Rainy day find - 04/20/16 03:49 AM

I believe I shot 11 rounds at 800 with 6 hits.
I shot high first two then hit 6 of 9

I shot it two weeks later in a Vintage military match also at 800 and hit 11 of 15

Most of those stores are gone now, seems like.
