Lee equipment

Lee equipment - 09/21/15 07:01 PM

Like to say something good about a company when I can.

I use a Lee hand trimmer to trim my brass. Bought a new one for 45-70 to start loading some for a new gun. I trimmed the 19 cases and the trim gauge broke on the 20th one. Sent an email with my complaint to Lee before lunch and when I got back from lunch there was a return email with a friendly greeting that asked for a picture and they would get a new one in the mail ASAP. Not too many companies offer customer service like the reloading companies.

I like Lee stuff, except their progressive presses.

Only lee items I own are their hand trimmer. Sent the picture to them and they said it would be in the mail by tomorrow, about 10 minutes ago I got the email that the part had shipped, no cost.

Thanks Lee up

It would be a different world all together, wouldn't it?

As stated, all loading equipment companies I've dealt with have used the utmost in customer care. I have lots of Lee stuff and am not shy to say so. I also realize you might have to send one back a few times although I never have. RCBS has the best CS of nearly any company in any realm. I'm cheap so I don't have much of their stuff.

Most of my reloading equipment is Lee. I learned on it 7 years ago and never felt the need to "upgrade". Works just fine.

Agree that Lee is a good company; Bought my first reloading set up "Lee Anniversary Kit" from my local gun shop 16 years ago and the kit, dies, calipers and components for 100rnds of .270win cost me $100ish dollars and paid for itself 100% over with the first 100rnds I loaded vs. the federal premium I was shooting at the time and been hooked ever since.

Can't complain about the results either......
