25-35 WCF Brass - 09/16/15 04:43 PM

Anyone have any leads on where I can buy some 25-35 brass? Don't care about the head stamp.

Thanks!

If all else fails, I'm pretty sure you can form 25-35 brass using 30-30 brass. If you go that route, anneal the brass before you form it.

Thanks, Scoutdog; I really want to avoid going through the conversion process if I can help it! I'll keep looking!!

Honestly, it's an easy step to make the brass from 30-30 brass. I haven't seen 25-35 brass in ages, and Winchester and a few custom brass makers were the only one's making it. I'd go the 30-30 route.

Poisonivie, the problem is that the brass is not in stock at Midway! Or Graf and Sons, or Cabela's. They have it listed, but when you try to buy it, you get the "out of stock, backorder OK" message.

Thanks, Chad. Converting the 30-30 brass is definitely a viable option, but I'll keep looking until I feel I've exhausted all avenues. I'd really like my headstamps to read: 25-35 WCF. But I'm an old fuddy-duddy!

Give this guy a call. He's a crusty old curmudgeon but he has a lot of stuff and loads for a lot of obsolete rounds. He did a good job for me on 32-40 rounds.

You may have looked, but there are some on GunBroker. New for $1.00 each, and $.60 for ones formed from 30-30

I am not sure where you are at, but I have a few boxes of new unfired brass if you still need some.
