STUPID IS WHAT STUPID DOES.....anybody want to take a bet? I've got $100 bucks says their crime rate goes up as a result of this...any takers?

Will the tax be applied to stolen guns that are sold to thugs? Are the thugs expected to pay when they purchase the stolen gun or put it on their 1099 that they file for their other ill gotten income?

I was there in June, men who pack are celebrated there. Men who carry guns are vilified. Raised the minimum wage to $15, now this. The gun stores will move out of the city.

My Granddaughter is married to a Navy CPO and stationed at Bremerton. I wanted to ship a rifle to him. He found that I had to pay 3 different sales taxes on the "value" of the gun. I waited until we were flying there to visit and hauled it along. I forgot to bring it back with me.

This IS the zombie apocalypse!

Seattle is a known center of Marxist dweebs, most of whom need a shave and a bath, especially the women.
For the most part, the rest of Washington is sane; they look at Seattle the way that we look at Austin.

Correct!.....I live in Austin and go to Seattle about once a year; I have a shirt that I got at the last gun show held at the Travis Co. Expo center before county "Officials" wanted to make background checks for all purchases a mandate - thus basically banning the show from their property.

This shirt says "KEEP TEXAS ARMED!" with an AR-15 directly below it; and while wearing that shirt in Seattle you get a lot of weird looks.

But when I leave the city and get into the rest of Washington state I get more complements on that shirt than I do in Texas.

Strangely enough I saw my first person ever openly carry a gun on their hip in Washington; a well dressed man walking down a pier with his wife holding hands and a Night Hawk .45 on his hip.

Word.

It's an idiot plague.

The downfall of our society started when MTV stopped being *music* television and became reality shows... then compounded by social networking such as Facebook and Twitter.

I think we've past the point of no return.

Two things:

1. When will these stupid people realize that guns used in killings and crimes usually weren't bought legally by the person committing the crime so the tax does nothing to stop it?

2. TEXAS NOT INCLUDED -

I'd agree that MTV was the beginning of the end of music, but the beginning of the end of [genuine] music is not where the rot started. The rot started a good many years before then.
