Remington Ultimate Muzzle Loader? Anyone shot one/seen one in action? - 05/16/16 03:49 PM
Just curious, I have been reading some reviews and watching some things online - curious if anyone on the forum as had a chance to shoot or see one in action first hand.

I bought one last November for a Kansas whitetail hunt. Mounted a Leupold Ultimate Slam 3x9x40 scope and sighted it in at 2" high @100. Shooting 150 gr Triple 7 pellets with a provided Remington (Barnes) sabots. Real comfortable shooter, cleans up nicely, dropped a big beautiful Kansas 8 at 135 yards no problem...highly recommend the Remington Ultimate Muzzleloader. Cost a bit more, but loading is so much easier than the T209 primers....uses a cut down 308 brass with primer.

sounds like a brake over, so can remove the brass...
easier cleaning... they make em in .45cal?

I haven't seen one but all the info I can find says it is 50 cal, it is also a bolt action styled after the 700 sports rifle that had some problems with misfire. Mfg. suggested retail price is $1295.00 but you get 24 sabots and 24 primers with that. You have to buy the primers from Remington but they can be re-primed at hone. be
