Could be manufator error... Had just got a Kentucky .45 before deer season... Pard & i hit gravel pit like always... Loaded it with factory spect's measure, .440 round ball & patch shooting uat a can at base of gravel pile, open sights... Fired with pard watching... No idea were it hit... Reloaded, no cleaning, pard shot, with me as spotter...
No idea were it hit... Getting a little peved..
. Reloaded, with out cleaning, each time harder ta reload, using Gorex powder... Aimed, getting ready to squeeze trigger, when pard, tapped me shoulder... Look down the barrel...
am looking down barrel... He said, look down barrel,
not the sights... The barrel had a curve in it...
We laughed... Took it back ta store & exchanged,
. WISH still had it... This is side lock, Gorex powder ball & patch, open sights... We shot many times 3-4 times, with out cleaning, each time harder ta seat ball, yet could still hit can at 30 yards with good rest... 50yrds could drop a deer... very well be scope mounts or such... In this case bow in barrel... Sorry no pic's again wish still had that rifle...
Good for shooting around trees... Edit: inlines & the
improved powders are way more accurate...
