Per CVA their write up on the CVA Wolf 209 Magnum (I do not really think it's the world's best selling break action muzzleloader..but that's their claim). Looks like the 209 Magnum is an upgraded replacement for the CVA Wolf

The world's top-selling break-action muzzleloader returns, with all its original advantages (light weight, compact design, ease of handling). The CVA® Wolf™ is now fitted with CVA's unique no-tools QRBP (Quick Release Breech Plug) for fast loading, and a breeching button in front of the trigger guard for instant 1-touch breaking. Other features include Premium Bergara blued steel barrel with Dead-On™ 1-piece scope mount, 100% ambidextrous stock, reversible hammer spur, and CrushZone® recoil pad. Includes aluminum ramrod. Twist: 1:28''. Barrel length: 24''. Overall stock length: 39" standard or 38" compact. Weight: 6.25 lbs.

Sorry....my bad, Thinking of the CVA 209 Buckhorn, which is an inline and my first muzzy! It was/is a very good shooting rifle, but had a "hair" trigger that caught me by surprise more than once while sighting in!

You'll need the mounts too grin

Good luck with the gun, I suspect you will have fun shooting and hunting with it.

They are both inline break action .50 muzzleloaders. The magnum was just added to the new model.
I have a CVW Wolf, Great gun, shoots 1 1/2" at 100 yards with 2 50 grain pyrodex pellets and a 245 grain Powerbelt bullet. I added a Nicon 3 x 9 x 40 Scope and Rock Solid mount. Unless your a Long Range Shooter you can't go wrong with one of these rifles.

My CVA 50 cal 209 was an accurate muzzle loader. Sold it to a friend he likes it too. up It was the camo/nickel looking barrel with a 3x9x40 swift scope. It was a package deal.
