Anyone know of a Hoyt dealer near Mesquite Texas? I would prefer one that may let me trade a bow in on a new now.

Make the trip to Canton and use On Target Archery. Great prices and people.

JT - I have wondered about that place. I drive past it on 64 to get to my family's land. I have ZERO experience with bow hunting or where to even start.

I recommend them for you. Beginner or experienced, they will take their time and patience to get you ready to go when you check out and leave. I've watched them instruct first time shooters and develop them into competent beginner shooters in a short period of time. Not saying you will leave after a few hours and be drilling tacks at 20 yards, but you will have solid fundamentals and the right equipment to give you some good homework when you leave. I'm not sponsored or otherwise affiliated with them to recommend them, but I have gained good rapport with the employees and have always been treated well by them.
