Got ya well heck if I was at home I’d send ya one, gotta take care of brothers even though I put my start away
If I find an extra I’ll holler
Appreciate that. You know how it is with having to conform to standards. We can’t use the Shield mags because that requires changing the mag catch, which alters the gun, and we can’t have that even though it’s our personal gun for off duty carry.
So I shall wait until PSA mags are available. I’m honestly shocked we are even allowed to carry those. They bitched and loaned about my factory Sig 15 round extended mags for my P226.
So they'll let you mount an optic (and I'm assuming change out the sights for proper height ones) but you can't replace a part that doesn't affect the function of the weapon (firing sequence)?? Are you allowed to utilize different iron sights if you you want??
I can understand not messing with internals from a reliability and liability standpoint... but anything that doesn't affect the function/reliability should be your choice, ESPECIALLY on a personal off duty weapon....
Yep. We have to qualify with them at our department and they service and maintain them if anything fails, which is why we are transitioning to all Glock. The fact that we can use PSA mags without having to change the mag catch means we can seamlessly transition back to the factory mags without issue. The Shield mags require the change. I really don’t see it as an issue. Our Firearms Training Center does extensive testing on everything firearm related before allowing us to use it.
As far as raised sights, we have them on our duty weapon, but they are not required on the 43x due to how low the Holosun mounts. That being said, I think there are 2 options for sights on our duty gun outside of what they give us.
