Anybody know anything about these?

It seems like they may not be available any more. Pretty light for a 308 AR.

I have a 6.5 Creedmoor built off PA-10 receivers. Got the lowers and uppers on sale. Never tried factory barrel. I wouldn't say light weight but not heavy. For the money they are a heck of a deal. Drop a nice trigger, sell barrel for $100-125 and buy a wilson combat barrel and you have a sub moa rifle for less than 950. The only issue with PSA is they did there pa-10 platform unique to others in some aspects. It's a dpms low profile for handguard which is limiting. Safety spring and detent is weird. Usually if you buy upper and lower separate during daily deal your out the door for less than $750 with FFL transfer.

Fwiw I just had an issue with palmetto's CS and eventually we got everything worked out, that is a common complaint.

That's good to know, jorge. I look at PSA's daily deals...well, daily it seems. I need another freekin AR like I need another hole in my head, but something that could handle .308? That ain't in my safe yet.

This is a new product from Palmetto. It’s a smaller frame large bore AR with a lighter bolt carrier. It’s quite a bit lighter than their PA 10. I just noticed it a couple of days ago. Supposedly it resembles the gen 2 DPMS. Just curious if anyone else had any info on it.

Whoa. Didn't realize the significance of the "PX" designation. Didn't go read up on it because I don't want to have to try and resist temptation...my thresshold has been a little low lately.

Is there one good, concise, and BRIEF reference for determining compatibility of uppers and lowers of the non-AR15 variety? I just may want to spring for something but don't want to be painted into a corner by a mistake.

Sometimes I am weak and impulsively make purchases I know I shouldn't. I think Buzz and I may be blood relatives.
