Sounds right up JG's alley...he loves the sniper sports roflmao

On a serious note, Mariam and David run a world class operation up there and constantly looking for ways to improve and get better. Plus, they are just as good of people as you will find.

I do not believe the 223 class is for AR 's only . last year bolt guns and AR shot in it.

Re: fossil Pointe sniper League - 02/07/18 02:55 AM

Hmmmm....

Dang FD schedule as well as family would sure make it hard for me to make them all. I sure would like to give it a go, though.

I'd have to get in open class. I don't own a bolt action .308, and no way in hell would I try it with an LR-308.

I have a Winchester 88 with a Redfield scope in period proper scope mounts you could borrow. Is that bolt action enough?

I will let you borrow my Mouser K98, Czech trainer model, 8mm, open sights(marked up to 1000 yards, ha ha) and has about a 15 to 20 pound trigger?
Sorry, it is right handed though. They did not make left handed soldiers back in the 30's. roflmao

that is one rule they do not adhere to , most all of the 260s and CreedMoors are going faster than that. some guys are shooting 130 grain bullets in their Creed Moors and they are going way faster than that

Re: fossil Pointe sniper League - 02/28/18 08:06 PM

What's the point in having a rule if someone doesn't follow it and others do.

I think they simply missed changing that rule . That is an old rule they had for the old 308 League
