new Tikka 2 stage trigger from Timney

Hmmmm. I'm not usually much on two-stage triggers, but I like the natl match trigger in my RRA. I would like to see how this functions in person.

I wonder if you can open the bolt without putting it on Fire

yeah, I am a single stage guy, ARs and bolt guns
the only 2 stage I own is a Huber in my 6.5 an in my Wilson Combat AR9 pistol
I had a long talk with the guy from BixNAndy and he wanted me to try both of their triggers, single and 2 stage and he said he would bet I would end up liking the 2 stage more

Ordered my first 2 stage this week. After testing one out for 50-100 trigger pulls (trigger in a lower, no live fire), I ordered it. For a precision style rifle, I think it will be fantastic. Time ya reputation obviously speaks for itself, I imagine this will be just as great.

My Tikka trigger is awesome. Do some Tikkas have bad triggers?

I agree, that is just one of the things I like about them..
Outstanding triggers out of the box, I set them to 2lbs and forget about them.
Probably why they released a two stage only..
Some "tactical" guys prefer them.. good market oppurtunity

This is just for folks who want a 2-stage. The 1-stage factory Tikka trigger doesn't need replacement if you're like most folks and you like single stage triggers.

Different strokes for different folks. Hell, I spent a bunch of money to get a good single stage trigger in my LR-308.

I had never used a 2 stage rifle trigger until a few months back but I really liked it. I'm tickled to death that Timney is putting this on the market.

I was hoping for a review model.
