Buzz,

I never understood the the fascination until I kept walking by a CTR at Cabelas. Finally one time there I asked to handle it, worked the action, pointed it, and then gave i back. About a month later they went on sale. I decided to drive up and just see if they had one is stock. They did. Guy handed it it to me the 2nd time and it was like Broke Back Mountain. The passion and been building and I gave in to it, took it home, and loved it.

I joke all the time that a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor is the answer to every question on THF, but the CTR is great. Maybe someday I will give in to my secret desires for a Creedmoor.

you are so right but don't tell the Tikka lovers on here, I don't want to ruin my reputation banana

That dang green really makes that a whole different rifle. Amazing what a little color can do for a trot line anchor !!!

There, now I feel better bolt
