Just thought I'd pass it along in case someone is needing the perfect gift for someone who's been really good this year.

Most customers who are waiting for their guns to be built are actually waiting on components to arrive at the shop. These "ready to ship" rifles are built with readily available parts to keep the machines running when there are no custom builds that have all components in the shop to move forward with. Last time I asked about wait time it seems like custom orders were being completed within two weeks of the shop having all parts in hand.

Buzz - are you planning on dying soon? I don't think I've ever met someone so concerned about wait times. Just order the thing and forget about it...then it's like Christmas when they call and say it's done.

Yes but that was last night. We've never met so of course I can say with certainty but from reading your presence on here, you might be looking at rifles again already.

Well, in your defense, I doubt any of us could say we are not at least looking. Maybe not with any serious intent but if I pass through Cabela's or anywhere else that sells rifles, I usually look, and I haven't bought a new rifle in a couple years. It's like walmarts ammo cabinet. If I find myself in that place I look at what they have. I haven't bought any in months as I started reloading. I'm interested, so I'm always looking.

Will these rifles be available cheaper on Tuesday the day after Christmas?

Someone needs to buy that creedmoor in the rhino camo McMillan before I make a bad decision.
