Does anybody use an endoscope to check their barrels?

What brands are the best for the money?

Is the Lyman bore scope any good?

PLEASE, No butt jokes. i.e., polyps and other gastro intestinal stuff. back

THANKS!

Never thought about that. My wife is an endoscopy tech...maybe I should start sending my rifles to work with her for a checkup...

Those things are better than nothing at all, but they look down the bore and not to the side like a bore scope does. The Lyman bore cam is a better tool. It can be had for around $229.

Hawkeye is the cream of the crop but they are priced as such. RR is dead on about the Lyman.

I don't have one, but another guy here (I think his username is Charlesb) used to post pictures he got with his that were really good quality. If you can search him here he can tell you what he uses.

II bought one for under $10 on eBay for android phone.
It takes surprising good images for the low cost.
There are different sizes I got the one that will fit a 223 bore.
