I finally have a 1/4 MOA rifle!!

Finally have a 1/4 MOA rifle like every UIBA

Went out to Jason's today to work up a load for my 6.5CM I had built a few months back.

44.0gr of 4451 and it shot .536" at 200.

Thank you Jason for all the help and wisdom. Thank you Tony for building an awesome rifle.

Great shooting, interesting looking rifle.

Tikka action, Burris XTR II 5-25x, and jason shot the last group my was all jacked up and swelled shut from my allergies. I shot all the groups on the top and jason shot the center and right of center groups.

We were thinking 42.9gr was going to be the load it was 1/2 MOA which is still pretty dang good. We almost didn't shoot the 44.0gr load jason asked if I wanted to pull the bullets and powder I said na lets shoot it, but you do the shooting. very glad we did.

Thanks guys it's definitely a shooter I'm very happy with it. Almost no recoil at all and not very heavy compared to some of my other rifles.

Probably best to leave it at home in the spring...finishing middle of the pack (me too!) with that rifle might raise a few eyebrows!

3 shot groups. Just working up a load, those are at 200 yards.

I don't normally care for the chassis type setups, but with results like that, I could probably warm up to one. Really nice rig and great shooting!

BTW - They sell real targets at Wal Mart...

That looks like a start but one 3 shot group doesn't make it a 1/4 moa shooter does it? By the looks of the others they it's around .5, still good though.

The other groups were shot with different loads, which is the whole point of "working up loads".
Knowing both shooters, I have no doubt about the rifles capabilities.

i would be interested in a target with five 5 shot groups to see what a true average would be.

Those will come soon, that wasn't the intended purpose of this. This was strictly load workup. Did not shoot for distance, groups, or dope that day. Need to 100 or so loaded up and go out to find my dope and shoot some 5 shot groups.
