Too broad of a question. Any shotgun can be used to hunt all of those animals. Gauge, type and length would be a personal choice in my opinion.

Semi auto 12ga, the one that fits best.

Not a fan of Semi's for foul weather fowl hunting. If I had to live with only one shotgun for all my hunting, I'd find a Remington 12ga 870 Wingmaster.

Are you really going to hunt deer and pigs with it? If so, you would be best buying a separate rifled barrel for it.

If you got a low budget, look at the Mossberg. I cant remember the model but it comes with everything to hunt everything.

always loved a good 870 synthetic pump... dipped would be ideal not needed though... 3inch max is fine with me... 26 inch barrel for all around universal but fine with 28

870 pump or 391 or a5 are the most reliable in their field in my experience.

12 guage will cover it all. Benelli auto if autos are your thing, or, if slumming a pump, the venerable 870 is the standard IMO.

what's wrong with a good over/under? 2 shots, you pay attention. I bring back just as many birds as my friends but use less shells. After all there is a bag limit.

870 for sure. When dove hunting I only put in 2. I learned the 3rd shot is usually in frustration and seldom accurate. Just me.

Just a bit heavy for my liking.. also two barrels to clean vs one but it's simple easy to clean why I said side by side for all around universal survival gun..

SBE with a 26-28 inch barrel.

You waste just as much ammo with a pump as you do a semi. Unless you don't know how to cycle a pump fast.
I've used my SBE 2 at the coast, goose hunting in muddy fields, trap and skeet with light loads, and crawling around looking for turkeys without any issues. I'd put reliability of a SBE2 up against an 870. 870's are made cheap now and have cheap extractors. One of my buddies shoots an 870 and his extractor broke. The gunsmith said it was a common issue with the newer ones.

Yes the SBE's do look like nice turkey guns and that is really my main purpose. I really dont know much about shotguns at all. Ive got a 410 single shot but it hasnt been fired since I was about 12 years old.

No I do not plan to hunt deer or pigs with it unless I am forced to by the rules of the wma. Which is why I threw that in there.

Turkey is the main prey and I dont believe my single shot 410 is adequate enough unless I am really close

I dont buy cheap guns. I hate cheap guns. No I do not have a budget. I will figure out what is best for me and then take as long as I need to to make it happen.

FABARM L4S, barrel length is nothing but personal preference.
