Well I painted a rifle for the first time and I'm very happy with how it turned out! Was originally going to darken the metal as well but now I'm not sure. Kinda like how it looks!

Good job! And I'd leave the metal alone, if I were you. Looks good just the way it is, and painted metal generally does not "age" very well unless you use some very durable coating.

Its a little bright, I think I would darken up the scope and barrel/action.

I'm pretty sure he painted all the metal white.

The metal was already cerokoted a very light tan. I was going to darken it but like it enough as is to leave it.
