new over-under

im looking at the new skb 590 over-under. I already have one [older model] and really like it. the thing is they switched from japaneese to turkish builders. does anyone have this model or seen it. any info

Don't expect the same quality from the Turkish guns that you have found in your Japan built SKB. The "new" SKB guns are built by AKUS. They're not bad shotguns for the price point, but don't expect Browning or Beretta quality for what they are selling for.

If used casually (300-400 rounds yearly) and maintained well I'd say they are worth the money. If you're going to shoot skeet every weekend look in a different direction.
