Got me a Glock 20 today. 10mm of get out of the way!

Bought this brand new today.

Shot it and I don't get all of the fuss about recoil. It is easy. Was shooting 200gr and 175 gr.

Love it. This is my new carry. I'll still carry my g36 on occasion but 15 rounds compared to my 6! No brainer!

Going to use the Hornaday 175gr Critical Duty flex lock ammo.

I love my 20.
No fuss about recoil. It's just a bit "flippy".
I have been advised on how to fix that.
I plan on getting a 29 ordered this week.

I actually read your thread about your delta and they had one at the store, but could not do it for several reasons. Not being disrespectful at all but here is why.

7 rounds v.s 15 rounds
Versatility, I just have to buy a glock upper in .45 and it fits.
Weight, again with more rounds.
Basically no safety, muscle memory is huge in this, but one less worry.
Light rail. Not one on delta.

Great gun, but I believe it would be a safe queen, like my TRP.

Not all 10mm loads are created equal. Not sure what you are shooting but Buffalo Bore Heavy loads are another story on the recoil and energy. More like what the original 10mm ammo was designed to be.

I shoot the 220 Gr Bullalo Bore in own of my 20s and it has a little kick but not much. I put in a 22 lbs spring and it is great to shoot. In my other glock 20s I run 180 gr Hornady XTP. Mostly because I got a great deal on several cases but my 20s and 29 like that ammo.

10mm is a great cartridge and Glock 20 & 29 are great guns IMO.

I love my G20C! FYI, I have a NIB G29 in stock. I put TFO sights on it.(to match my other Glocks)

I had the TFO sights added as well, amazing.

I made 10 extra G20 holsters than the wholesaler ordered on accident for IWB carry, but can carry OWB if converted

I dont understand what the big deal is....its just 1mm bigger than a 9mm Isnt that what someone heard from an Academy salesman?

I know, right. A PROPERLY loaded 10mm is about as close to a .357 magnum one can find in a common semi-auto pistol. Some of this factory crap ammo is basically a .40S&W loaded into an over-sized case.

As a reloader that already runs .40 dies; I might really consider getting into the 10mm game.

I have been led to believe that the 10mm was an attempt to replicate the 41 magnum. I believe that the 10mm is a great round and wish it would have taken off better than it did. I believe that it should be factory loaded to full power. I had a Kimber in 10mm that was very accurate and easy to shoot. I sold it because a friend wanted it, nothing against the round.

I'm disappointed that someone who drives such a bad azz truck has a boring BRICK for his handgun. You need to trade up to a Dan Wesson Bruin, I would hope you wouldn't need 15 rounds for any thing. Now, chuck the brick and pack a pistol which is as classy as your Superduty....

I have a TRP, I don't like the extra weight of a 1911 platform, plus there is that safety thingy. I know muscle memory, but the "brick'" is a no brainer, IMO.

Mine is stock Glock 20 Gen 3.....165 gr @ 1256 fps....
