I can't sleep, and thanks to work I can't hunt, so in going to live vicariously through y'all.

So what's everybody shooting tomorrow? Gun, caliber, choke, ammo!

I'll be out Sunday and Monday, will be shooting Beretta Extrema 2, 12ga, IC, Rio Texas Load

And for kicks and grins, Taurus Judge 410, open, no idea on loads

Not hunting tomorrow but all I got is an 870 shooting Rem surshot

Considering trying to trade my AR in 223 towards a descent autoloader since I don't use it as much now that I have the 6.8 SPC.

No spot to go but I did clean it this evening like I always do one the eve of season start. To busy to even think about it so it really doesn't matter unfortunately. Good luck tomorrow

Shooting my dad's old Remington 17. I don't even know what the choke is, but I hit dove with it better than anything else I own.

Beretta A300 12 ga., IC, 1 1/8 oz. 7 1/2. It sucks that you can't be out on opening morning, but God's work comes first.

Yildiz A71 with Winchester #6 dove loads and Rio #8 target loads I run out. Improved cylinder and 1 oz loads (both)

No place to go this year for birds. The place I had been going to the past couple of years was my neighbors dad's place, but unfortunately they aren't on speaking terms at the moment, so there's that.

Going to be several weeks before I get out. Hope there are still birds around when I do.

Not enough birds for me to even hunt birds. But coyotes and hogs are always around.

Saturday, Weatherby SA-08, Remington Heavy Dove #7 1/2, 1 1/8 oz, MOD choke to start. Backup is a 40+ year old Rem 1100 20 ga, IC, not an LT-20 but the full size. Remington Express Long Range 7 1/2 1oz loads with maybe some old Federal 7/8 oz 7 1/2 thrown in.

I'm jealous. I've got a set of Winchester 101's - a 12 and a 20. I'll be toting one or the other.
