Savage A17

Friend of mine thinking about getting one of these, any reviews from the THF?

My dad bought one recently and topped it with a Vortex Crossfire, he loves it and can't wait to kill something with it. He sighted it in at 50 & then 100. He says it less than 1/2 inch difference in height between the two. That's using the Hornady 200 round A17 ammo.
