Not that it helps but don't they replace if stolen? Hate a thief and I'll keep my eyes open.

No unfortunately this year they cancelled that program due to pressure from BATFE

Well that sucks even worse now. Does it apply to previously purchased guns or just recent ones since the change?

FYI If your an NRA member you get $1,000 worth of free gun insurance with your membership.
I sent in their 2 page form, copy of the police report and had a check for $1,000 in my hand in 2 weeks.... It didn't make me whole again but its better than nothing.
