Newest addition to the arsenal (LR-708) - 07/27/16 01:12 AM
So I was really wanting to build an LR type rifle to use for hunting and long range shooting. I wanted something unique and heavily debated building a 6.5 creedmoor but ended up with a 7-08 since I have a tack driving 6.5 bolt action. I'd like to give a shout out to Brandon at South Texas Arms for helping put the final pieces together and building an awesome rifle. I took it to the range and it absolutely loves the 139 sst. Can't wait to get some 140 accubonds to shoot. Here are a few of the parts in the build : SI Defense matched ambi billet set, Luther-ar stock, Geissele SSAE, battle arms ambi safety, AXTS ambi charging handle, slr 15" solo lite rail, slr adjustable gas block, 20" fluted barrel, Thunderbeast CB flash hider (have a TB Ultra 7 on the way), bobro QD mount with a Leupold VX-3i 4.5x14x50. Had the barrel kg in black and the upper/lower/rail in burnt bronze.
