What all groups are out there to shoot tactical long range, and do you have to members to shoot or can you just pay match fees? After firemans class, I'm interested in it more than I was before.

Texas Precision Rifle Club

Annual membership fee, and a small fee every match you shoot.

Look up some of the longer range shooting locations, and give them a call to find out what events they may be hosting.

Also look into the PRS, Precision Rifle Series. There are also several facebook shooting clubs that post up local matches often.

Besides the 2 great ones already mentioned. TxPRC has 3 chapters of north, central and south so you have plenty of opportunities to make a match.

There's also going to be matches at cresson at triple c tactical or outback precision not sure which name it's under.

Also depending on how far you want to drive there's an Oklahoma precision club as well.
