Larue wait list - 06/06/16 07:01 PM
After about 9 months on the Larue waiting list, I thought I had solved the problem of getting a rifle. I took this pic of then Gov and my son -in -law to Larue, thinking they would love a pic of the Gov in Iraq with their hat on. All I asked was just bump me up on the waiting list. They politely told me to get out of their office.
I'm confused? You sent them a pic of your son in law and former Gov Perry thinking that would get you bumped up in the list? Doesn't surprise me that they weren't impressed. Perry basically wears Larue branded clothing 24/7/365 these days.
You showed up at their office in Leander? Last I heard that was a big No NO without a good reason and an appointment.
I would never wait 9 months for a rifle.

I would have cancelled your order in addition to asking you to leave. Do you really not see how what you did was wrong?

yes,, I went to their office in Leander ------------- I did not 'send' it. Woosies are afraid to try to get business done in person, apparently there are many of them on this site. lol
About 2 months after that I took my name off of the waiting list.

I wouldn't go as far to call others "wussies" on here, I think the point was that you expected to be bumped on their list because your son-in-law was photographed with former Governor Perry, which I don't understand the logic behind your expectations. Obviously their business is doing well if they have a 9+ month waiting list, but that sort of thing is not for me.

I wrote there and slipped the office lady a $20 and got my rifle same day. True story.

And now the picture is on the interwebs and they can use it all the same.
I would have sold you my LaRue but someone else bought it. Good for shooting targets.
Great picture.
This is a bizarre thread. I guess I'm a wussie because I would never randomly show up at an establishment, uninvited, with a random photo, and an expectation I would get preferential treatment. LOL. They probably thought you just escaped from a local hospital.

It's annoying for a business other than probably a retail establishment to have someone just walk in without an appointment. If they were polite and courteous about asking you to leave then you shouldn't have any reason to be upset. You could have just shared that pic to their Facebook page or their forum on ar15.com. Plus its a fairly good size weapon manufacturer who makes full auto weapons among other class 3/LE/MIL things. Not appropriate for someone to just walk in unannounced off the street. It says on their website that the facility isn't open to the public.

Figures!
I'm just thinking, wow.
Maybe barge into LaRue headquarters with one of these pics and see if it moves you up the list.
First time ever I've put a fellow member on "ignore".
After seeing the other thread, I believe this dude got all of you.
