Anyone tried to take that sticky crap off of the forend and butt stock? Love the gun, but I don't need or like that crap!
Thanks for any suggestions, prefer not to screw it up through experimentation.

Are you talking about the tacky rubberized material on the stock? My son has an M2 with that finish and he likes it when shooting with gloves.
I don't know that you will have any luck... I thought they still offered the older design that was a smoother finish in case you find it on Midway or some other site.

Thanks TXBOSS and Buzzsaw! Yes, I bought it used and really like it except for the tacky rubberized material on the stock that TXBOSS is referring to. Some of which is pealing, this is why I was thinking I could possibly remove it.

I have gotten dealership stickers off with a heat gun, but I don't think I would recommend it as a solution.
