dumb question about my 6.8 i ordered today

Ordered a 6.8 from PSA today. My first purchase from them and a AR novice.

I got magpul lower on sale 179
6.8 SPC upper. 359.99
Magazine for 6.8. 7.99

Found a "full auto" 6.8 BCG for 139.99, bought it but it says 6.8, is that the same as the 6.8 spc upper?

Also got charging handle. Are they universal?

By no means a pro (built my first AR which was a 6.8 last December). But what I remember from my research was the charging handle is universal for AR-15s and that BCG should be fine. 68forums has a lot of good info specific to the caliber if you haven't come across it yet.

I also run a SLR Rifle works adjustable gas block. You can take allot of the excess gas out of the system & reduce recoil. My favorite hog gun.

You're fine on the BCG. PRI & Barrett are the 2 top mags for 6.8.

I love my PSA 6.8. Try Hornady 120 grain SSTs.

PRI mags are not what they used to be. But ASC mags for 1/3 the price and you will be happy. Everything you bought will work just fine. There is a small chance you could have a headspace issue, though, since your barrel and bolt haven't been checked.

I like the ASC mags, that's what I use in my 6.5x6.8 AR.
