Derrick at Horizon Firearms is who I'd see. He's near College Station so a little drive but well worth it. You can find him on here HorizonFirearms

X2 for Derrick at Horizon Firearms. If that is too far a drive then there is Bobby Pitchford in Waller. About an hour closer to you. Both do excellent work.

Smith here in lake Jackson, tx i know makes jse brakes and they are top notch closest thing is aps painkiller. Does great work.

Briley, on Lumpkin off 10 West, Call Collectors Firearms on Westhiemer, Carter Country, could point you in a good direction. Also American Shooting Centers could probably turn you on to some local smiths

I sent mine to Derrick and Horizon as well...great guy to work with. I shipped mine via fedex with no issues. Might consider that route if you don't find a trusted one around here.

Roberts Precision Rifles did an outstanding bedding job for me on a Howa rifle bedded into a Bell and Carlson stock. Professional and great guy to do business with. Also a testament to Howa, mine shoots 1/2" groups at 100 with factory ammo.
