Next THF Rifle Match coming up?

Any chance there will be another THF match in the making soon? 0-300yrd or 0-800yrd? Just wondering.

Never done it, but considering. I wouldn't mind someone telling me what to expect. Are distances known, or is ranging the target part of the challenge? Equipment restrictions? Thanks for any information.

Distances are always known. You get a course of fire the morning of the match that tells you all distances and how many shots and points value. No equipment restrictions besides no faster than 3100FPS otherwise you'll mess up the steel and you run what you brung you can not use multiple rifles.

Yes all the target sizes are given. Very fun environment for everyone.

why does it have to be on C shift? I've only got two options to try and get a sub...

Them gonna be hot days to choose from , but i'm sure we'll be cooled by the inevitable rain that comes along with the match. I'm down with which ever. If you guys need any help let me know.

It's gotta be on a c-shift because I'm A-shift. And if I have it on a B-shift I'lol show up to run a match having been awake and functioning for 27 hours by 0800. Inevitable that we'lol be up all night at the station the night before, and it WILL rain that morning.

No one complained about heat last year. I spent two days clearing out the "beer garden", by the platform, so that we had plenty of shade to hide under, and it worked perfectly.

Oh I'm not complaining, I'm hot natured AF, I was sweating during the hunters challenge and it was 30 degrees and pouring rain. Heat doesn't really bother me since I'm always run on the hot side anyway.

Haha I see what you mean, I bet setting up a match is a undertaking to say the least. I got some space in Oklahoma but im guessing that's pretty far for some. If you need help setting for the next one I'm down to help.
