A lever action should be the one gun that stays untouched by the black rifle stuff. It doesn't belong on there.

Thankfully there were some to offset that tragedy. Just out of the frame was an Uberti 1873 .357 with a 16.5" barrel that would be the perfect little truck gun. Just behind me was the Sako 85's that also were awfully tempting. I managed to escape with an intact bank account though.

Does anyone have any Zombie Green spray paint? If there ever was a gun that needed it, that's the one.

This shop is where you go to look at guns to buy elsewhere. They are overpriced on everything.

If that's the overpriced shop in Lubbock off of Slide, let me know where is a good place to go to around here smile In town visiting my parents and yep - nice place to look and handle but I left with an intact bank account too.

It is. I've been in Lubbock now for a year and a half and went there today for the first time. Good selection but overpriced. I have heard they price match though

I would never own one, but the 30-30 version might have an interesting application. It has an adjustible stock, very short barrel, and is outfitted with a flash hider. The flash hider could be unscrewed and replaced with a can. Since the action doesn't cycle during the shot, you could have an almost dead silent pig popper for the truck. Plus, it might be under the radar if those SOB's in DC get their way and outlaw autoloaders.
I agree though, ugly as hell. I gotta have my walnut.

1. Can a bolt. Can a single shot. But for the love of all things sacred, leave the ol' lever guns alone. They're the last firearm that hasn't gotten the black gun bite.

2. I don't need my firearms to be under the radar. They want em, they can come and try to take em. From my cold dead hands

What next? Is Heritage going to make a tacticool version of a fake Colt single action revolver?

I see that and feel like throwing up! The person that designed it and then gave the ok to produce them should be beat to death by one!

Hiram Percy Maxim put a can on his Winchester 92 lever-gun - but he didn't paint the gun black, hang a flashlight on it, or anything like that. It was his 'garden rifle' intended for bunnies and such, I suppose.

I do not believe that this is his gun, but it does have the same kind of suppressor.
