Calling all 700 experts - stock switching info

Current situation: have a 700 standard long action rifle (30-06) in an hs precison stock with accompanying bdl floorplate assembly. I want to give the stock to my brother who has a 700 adl (blind mag) in 7mag.

I know the stock itself will fit the magnum action, but can I reuse all the same magazine parts as well?

The magazine box for ADL and BDL is different in depth. He will simply want to find/order a BDL magazine box and may have to replace the follower (Try it first. With a pushfeed, it is not as critical). Unless you are giving him your magazine box, then he is good to go.
