help with a new gun purchase. - 12/15/15 01:47 PM

Gents, Mrs. Moto is wanting a Glock 19 (I believe) for Christmas. Any good places around the metroplex to purchase one of these bad boys. I keep hearing ads for The crazy gun dealer in Alvarado, but that's a haul. Any suggestions?

Buds has good prices. Academy also sells Glocks very cheap. I am biased towards buying online because you don't have to pay sales tax.

Another vote for Bud's as well as Summit Gun Brokers.

I was thinking of the online philosophy, until I realized you have to pay the FFL and depending on where they are, you pay gas to drive back and forth. But with the amount
of FFLs, there is usually one pretty close.

Try Grabagun in Coppell.

They have great prices, and although you have to pay the sales tax, you won't have to pay an FFL transfer fee.

Actually, you are supposed to be paying that sales tax on your own when you file your taxes. It goes under a Use Tax.
