I'm going to have to ship it, so where it goes (in Texas) isn't an issue, but can you guys recommend a few places that do great work? Barreled action, bolt, and bottom metal are all getting done. Once place quoted me about $120. Nominees, please?

Custom Defense Firearms Killeen TX.
(408) 597-4867

He has done a lot of ARs, pistols, and anything else metal. He even did my Yeti cup in burnt bronze you can see it in the pics section. He coats and then bakes the cerekote on. Im sure he can email or text you pics. Great guy and great work.

Thanks, Sapper-looks like they do some really incredible work. I'll definitely talk to them.

I should include that this is a bolt gun that will a simple one-color job, nothing extreme.

Should be pretty simple for him. Do you plan to do the disassembly and then just ship the parts you want cerekoted?

$120 is really cheap from the prices I've seen.

The barreled action is at Morgan's right now getting cut down and threaded, so it's already in pieces.

Ok. I was going to say he usually charges a little less if he doesn't have to take the weapon apart.

Eric, has he done some stuff for you? I see his stuff online but it doesn't really strike me as bad azz. I guess I need to see more of his work. There is a guy in San Antonio who really is creative with his Cerakoting.

There is a guy in Plano area that did a scope for me. He did great work and delivered a head of when he told me he would have it done. Matt Murphy 972 area code 867 prefix 1364 Not sure if he would remember me so not worth mentioning my name unless he asks you where you got his number.

We usually get most cerakote jobs out in about 2-3 days if we have the colors in stock. We can turn some projects in a day. Takes about a week if we have to order special colors. We try to keep about 50 colors in stock to minimize wait times.
