Anybody hunt with a 10mm handgun?

Looking for a solid auto cartridge for the ranch and found a good deal on a Glock 20.

I have hunted the with my Glock 20c, for the last few years. I installed a 6.5" Lone Wolf threaded barrel on it so I could use my .45 can for the fun of it. I load 180 grain HARD lead bullets and shoot it as often as my carry G19. I did install a laser on it, my eyes are getting old! Welcome to the forum, my property is just North of Corsicana.

Rock Island is coming out with a 6" double stack. If you're going to buy one, that would be the one to buy.

Yes. I carry a G29 daily, a G20 for the deer lease. I've taken several pigs with the G20 and Hornady 200 grain XTP bullets. It hits them very hard and is usually a one shot drop. I carry the 180 XTP and 150 Nosler JHP, and hunt with the 200. The ammo I use is linked below. It is full power 10mm, not your watered down 10mm at 40 S&W speeds. I offer this ammo because of the lack of good 10mm ammo on the market. You get either watered down 40 cal or 10mm +P, that is too hot for a stock Glock. This is max 10mm loaded at top speeds within the pressure limits of the Glock.

I have a Gen 4 G20 that I carry for backup when I'm hunting hogs and I really like it. Especially if you handload, then 10mm is a great choice. Ammo is expensive otherwise.

I used to have one and I loved it. Only problem was finding ammo.

RIA already has several 10mm pistols out. Just make sure you get full power 10mm like chad said.

I've got a G20 and that sucker is BAAAAD! The pigs don't like it much around my place, but I love it. I keep it fed with Underwood 200 gr XTPs @ 1250 fps.

It's a 2011. And a 6" barrel, with a 6" sight radius. Why in the name of all things holy would you choose a Glock??

Haha I just traded my G22 for a S&W 1911PD haha. Still haven't gotten to shoot it yet but damn they just fit my hand. Verdict still out on reliability of course, but we shall see.

If it jams, I'll give you $100 for it.

Thanks guys I think both parties were happy with the trade. The Glock had a ton of accessories with it to even out the trade.

My next gun will be a Sig P-220/10. I always have a 10mm with me while hunting.
