Not much shoulder - Not much boiler room.

Not the case for the lighter .25 cal bullets. I dig it but I always like the weird stuff too.

I have the 6.8 SPC necked down to 25 and it gets 3000+ with 90 gr Sierra.

It will let you shoot the heavier 100 gr if so inclined and still not have to seat the bullet too deep and take your powder capacity..

Personally I would take the 6X45 over either one for all around use. Much larger bullet selection.

Ares Defense mag allows for longer overall cartridge length..

I don't see them on the webpage unless I am missing them somehow? How long can you seat OAL?

I will also add that necking the 223 up to 6mm/ 25 cal/ and others as well as down to 20./17 cal has been going on for years so nothing new here really. I would hazard a guess that the 6mm/.223 AKA 6x45mm would be the most popular seeing as Hodgdon/Sierra/ Ramshot/Accurate Arms all have reloading data for it but nada for the 25/223.

But I can understand some folks affinity for the quarter bore flag
